About this Conference

A workshop exploring Derived Text Formats (DTF) as a solution for enabling research on textual data with copyright or privacy restrictions. It brings together researchers, legal experts, and infrastructure providers to discuss the creation, standardization, and scientific use of derived data in linguistics and language technology.

Call for Papers

Submissions should be 4 to 8 pages in length (excluding references and potential Ethics Statements). Papers should follow the LREC stylesheet. Topics include practical experiences with DTF, legal and ethical considerations, use cases in digital humanities and linguistics, infrastructure and tools, and standardization efforts.
