Free Software in Education
About this Conference
The conference is organized by the Association
of Serbian Professors of Informatics'' from Novi Sad with the support of the Centre for Promotion of Science of Serbia.
The candidates should stress one or more of the following topics in thier papers:
• Application of free software in education (primary and secondary schools and university)
• Free software in 21st century, developmental tendencies and novelties
• Free software in inclusive education
• Free Web technologies
• Software localization
• Open-source code operating systems
• Software licensing (definition, explanations)
• Free software in economy, commercial and financial activities
• Hardware and free software
The deadline to submit conference papers: January 20, 2016 at 12.00 h.
The notification of accepted papers: January 23, 2016.
Attendance and participation is free.
Papers can be written in Libre Office Writer (format .odt)
The volume of papers o submit is minimum five and maximum ten pages. For text editting, font Тimes New Roman
should be used, font size 12.
Papers will be reviewed by reviewers designated by the Programme Committee. Papers must be
written to meet the form of conference papers.
Articles should be structured as follows:
• Abstract in Serbian and Engish (маx. 150 words)
• Key words in Serbian and English (маx. 5)
• Introduction
• Main part (frame: basic issue, data sources, main arguments and explanations, interpretations, аs appropriate,
functional subtitles can be added)
• Conlusion(s)
• Bibliography/References
The following requirements should be met in order that papers could be accepted:
1. Deadline regarding the submission of papers has been met;
2. Paper has been written according to the provided guidelines;
3. Paper has received a positive evaluation by the reviewers.
Official Conference languages: Serbian, English or Russian.
Papers included in the conference programme should be orally presented. The oral presentation is limited to 10
minutes.
The paper presentations can be prepared in Libre Office Impress (format .odp) or other free formats.
The venue: The Sremski Karlovci Gymnasium, Sremski Karlovci, Serbia.
Should there be any changes regarding the change of venue, participants will be timely informed.
