About this Conference
A workshop exploring the intersection of natural language processing and affective science, focusing on computational approaches to understanding emotions, affect, and their expressions through language. The workshop brings together researchers from NLP, psychology, neuroscience, and other disciplines to examine how computational methods can shed light on emotional processes.
Call for Papers
Invites archival long and short paper submissions, as well as non-archival extended abstracts. Topics include computational modeling of emotions, affective data and resources, emotion recognition, applications of affective science, explainability of affective models, and ethical considerations. Long papers up to 8 pages, short papers up to 4 pages, extended abstracts up to 2 pages. Submissions must use LREC 2026 template and include a mandatory ethics section.
