Conference Objective: To facilitate international, cross-country and multi-disciplinary discussion of key issues affecting youths worldwide and in particular regions and states.

Proposed Themes:

THE YOUTH AND THE POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA: Accepted papers will focus, among other things, on the power of social media in the light of events following up to and after the “Arab Spring”, the censoring of social media in some parts of the world, and social media as a contested site of conflict and tool of violence and/or freedom.
